CCN Mission Statement
The CCN is committed to serve as the critical link
between the community and responding service agencies,
by disseminating information
to promote self-sufficiency and life-long learning.

In December of 2002 the Southeast Los Angeles County Workforce Investment Board (SELACO WIB) One Stop Career Center held a “Partner Breakfast” for the Holiday season. It was so well received, that another “Partner Breakfast” was planned for and held that March. At that time a survey was conducted asking the attendees what they hoped to get out of this breakfast meeting. One of the answers was to meet more often. So that is what we did! CCN currently meets once a month … alternating between a business and share time meeting and a task force meeting.

A primary focus of CCN is to learn about all the available community and social service resources in the Southeast Los Angeles County area to better serve our customers and to pool and share resources.

We have conducted two (2) special events as a collaborative and are currently planning a fundraiser so that we may plan further events that will be of service to our residents and customers.

We believe that the Collaborative Community Network (CCN) is moving toward great things! We are always “meeting” new organizations and learning about outstanding services being offered to our residents. We encourage every community based organization and social service program to join us monthly and help CCN grow not just in numbers but in spirit.
